Prada Eyewear

The Prada brand is synonymous with high fashion, and this is a label that it carries throughout its range, whether its bags, clothes, accessories or footwear. In recent years the Prada range has really expanded and one of the lines that has seen the largest expansion is the sunglasses line. Prada now manufactures hundreds of different pairs of sunglasses and sells them in hundreds of countries around the world as an international entity.

The Prada 54IS is one of the most popular introductions into the mass market and has been one of the most successful introductions by the line. As with many products in the range a large red stripe located on the arm of the sunglasses reminds us that this design is affiliated with the Prada brand.

The gradient lens is one of the key features of the 54I5 design and allows the sunglasses to easily change and adapt of any lighting conditions that the wearer might face. This means that the sunglasses can be worn at almost any time and not just in the glaring sunlight. As the eyes are no longer having to constantly adjust to changing light conditions it helps to reduce strain as the sunglasses do the job of adjusting for you.

Many people might think that gradient lenses take away an aspect of the sun protection, but this is not true. You would come to expect 100% sun protection from the Prada range and this style really delivers. UVA, UVB and blue light rays are all blocked out by the lenses.

The stylish and strong feel emanated by the glasses comes mainly from the silver, gunmetal and shiny silver colours that flow throughout the range. The sunglasses also feature a mainly square lens design which is a step away from the traditional contoured design, and gives a completely different approach and feel to the sunglasses.
