Facts About Autoresponders And Email Courses

by Gene Fink

The marketing method of offering free things to your website visitors would often result in a lot of sales. Very popular are free courses delivered via email and on a regular basis, people would sign up for such courses to learn more about a topic that interests them. You can use autoresponders in order to maintain and deliver these courses.

To send out a series of lessons for an email course, you can set up an autoresponder. The lessons can be set for distribution at specific intervals. How often the lessons for the courses are sent to the people who signed up for it is another thing you can determine. Email courses are not like traditional courses, web based courses, or other types of courses.

Student and instructor interaction is not provided. When the instructor writes the information, each lesson will be put in an autoresponder series, sets the timing for the lessons, and the rest will be automated. The lessons can be delivered every day, every other day, every three days, or whichever you think would work best for your email students.

Commonly used to sell products and services are email courses. An example would be developing a course that teaches people how to use widgets or care for them if what you sell are widgets. If you put enough thought into it, then it's possible than an email course can be written for almost any product that you can imagine.

Determining what your course is about and how long it should be is how you should start. If every other day for two weeks is how the course will be delivered, then seven lessons is what you'll need. In an autoresponder is where you can load the lessons you have written. In this case, the interval you need to set for each lesson should be 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13.

One day after the course is requested by the person is when the first lesson will be delivered and three days after the person has requested the course is when the second lesson will be delivered and so on. Set for the number of days after the person has signed up is the interval for each lesson. Make sure that your sentences are grammatically correct and that everything is spelled right. You want the lessons to look and sound as professional as possible.

Your next step would be advertising the email address that will activate the autoresponder. But first, make sure you run a test and send each lesson to yourself. This will allow you to see what your email students will see when they sign up!
